the dream instagram hotel all over your feed...is it worth the hype?
Let me start by saying, this hotel has always been on my short list of must stay, unique hotels in my lifetime list.
I was worried Cuixmala would be an Instagram trap hotel, but to my pleasant surprise, it wasn’t. Sure, the hotel, the architecture, and the colors are truly Instagram-worthy and make a perfect backdrop to add to a curated feed. BUT I have been to IG and Tik Tok trap hotels, filled with day trippers and people just there for a photo, and this wasn’t our experience.
The property, for one, is enormous! A 30,000 acre reserve of tropical jungle, lagoons, and beaches on the Pacific Coast. It was originally a private residence for Sir James Goldsmith and his family. INSANE!
